1st Day: Monday
First day started in the Degree Room of the Polytechnic Building of the University of Alcalá with the welcome message to the University of Alcalá for the participants, given by Prof. Juan J. Cuadrado.
After the welcome message, participants assist, in the same room to the invited conference performed by Mr. José Gómez, from Cap Gemini. The conference title was Services Industrialization, and in it participants could have knowledge about how services industrialization are implemented in Cap Gemini and how they are related with the University world and what kind of skills must have the students in enterprise systems when they arrive to the industry.
The following training session were offered:
- Implementation examples in EU
- Innovative learning and assessing techniques
- How to design a pathway using ECTS, Bologna, Bloom
performed by the European partners of the team the University of Cagliari and the University of Middlesex, Giorgio Giacinto and George Dafoulas, respectively. They exposed to the participants their experiences and knowledge.
2ndDay: Monday
Second day was dedicated to the current situation of PENS project. The sessions were:
- WP6: Progress and current status of the project (BZU), by Dr. Yousef Hassouneh
- WP1 status and deliverables progress (SU), by Prof. Maha Khemaja
- WP2 planning (UAH), by Prof. Salvador Sánchez
- WP3 planning (ASD), by ASD representative
- WP4 status and deliverables progress (MDX), by Prof. George Dafoulas
- WP5 status and deliverables progress (AQU), by Rashid Jayousi
The result of the review of the current state of the project is that all the task has being performed accorded with the scheduled. The day was very productive because all the partners left very clear the achievements to be obtained in the near future and the commitment of each partner to get it.
3rdDay: Wednesday
In the third day the formative sessions starts. Sessions in the day were:
- Overview of Business Process Re-engineering (MUHEC), by Prof. George Dafoulas
- Big data, machine learning, and enterprise assessment: opportunities and risks (UCA), by Prof. Giorgio Giacinto
- BPMN at a glance (MDX), by Prof. George Dafoulas
4thDay: Thursday
Formative sessions scheduled for this day were:
- Project measurement: function points, by Prof. Juan J. Cuadrado
- Inter-organizational Information Systems, by Prof. George Dafoulas
5thDay: Friday
The last day of the meeting starts with a formative session:
- Project measurement: function points (UAH), by Prof. Juan J. Cuadrado, in which the fundamentals of software measurement with IFPUG unit were explained.
- Business intelligence technologies: Data lake and IOT, by Prof. Miguel A. Sicilia
and the last session was performed by video conference from UK:
- Entrepreneurship, creativity and innovation, by Prof. Simon Best.
